| Heat Shields for Naturally Aspirated and Supercharged Engines | |

The heat shield system consisting of two shields each mounted over the exhaust, they were developed to reduce under bonnet temperature, radiated heat to the supercharger air intake system and transient heat to the interior cockpit. The shields are extensive and are independently mounted to the engine and extend from the forward turn of the exhaust back towards the rear cylinder outlets. The shields do not have to be removed for servicing of the engine. The rear section of the shield is designed to slide forward to create access space to all spark plugs, after servicing the shield extension is simply slid back into position. |
